Smith School of Business, a recognized world leader in entrepreneurship programs and research. The series is held in conjunction with the Smith School's Third Annual China Business Plan Competition and led by ChinaGrowthCapital, a leading entrepreneurial consulting and financial advisory firm. Each workshop is presented by experts and focuses on a critical component necessary in building a viable, world-class business venture.

Company Valuation - Methodologies and Case Studies
This unique presentation will cover insider techniques and information, to help attendees learn how to get the most from the fundraising process. Entrepreneurs will come away with a clearer understanding of the methods used by investors to value start up companies; as well as will benefit from an introduction to valuation methodologies and case studies.

Building a Winning Team
A strong team is key to entrepreneurial success. This workshop introduces practical methods and tools that can be directly applied to team building. Specific topics include Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) design and implementation, and tips for successful partner selection.

Fundraising Process and Strategies
This powerful workshop teaches entrepreneurs how to fully develop their ideas and successfully approach venture capital investors for funding. Attendees will be offered ideas and strategies for identifying sources of funding; developing and presenting financing proposals; and tactics to help close the deal.
